‘Auricoma’ is a dense, upright then arching, deciduous shrub with thorny stems bearing small, broadly oval, reddish-purple leaves turning bright red and orange in autumn. Clusters of red-flushed, bright yellow flowers in spring are followed by ovoid, orange-red fruit. Max height and spread is 2.5m. Soil type chalky, clay, loamy and sandy. Sunlight, partial shade and full sun.
