Pieris Forest Flame is an upright, evergreen shrub with glossy dark green leaves, red when young, turning pink, and finally green. Clusters of pendent fragrant white flowers in spring are like lily of the valley. Height 4m. Spread 2m. Evergreen and frost hardy this will grow in shade or sun and grows best when sheltered from the drying wind. Plant in an acid soil adding peat or ericaceous compost if necessary.
