The torrential weather last year tried hard to put a dampener on 2012 proceedings, (to no avail we might add!), and so this year we sincerely hope that the weather is kind to traders and visitors of the show.
The weather has already presented a challenge to this year’s Royal Cornwall Show (or at least our part in it!) with a number of our larger structural plants kept aside for the display not currently where they should be for the time of year. The cold, wet conditions that subsided only a month ago have left certain plants with a lot of catching up to do – some of which just won’t be able to in time. This of course makes the display design and construction all the more crucial, but won’t stop us working our hardest to put something show-stopping together! With a gold medal to uphold from last year, we don’t have a choice!
Taking place next week from the 6th-8th June at the showground in Wadebridge, the annual event welcomes visitors from across Cornwall – and Devon and beyond. Be sure to come and visit us in the Flower Tent – a friendly face, expert advice, wonderful plants and an unmissable competition all await you! 🙂
