Yucca Gloriosa ‘Bright Star’

Yucca Gloriosa ‘Bright Star’ is available in a 5L pot.

Please note: Plant images are for guidance only and may show the plant at maturity or in full bloom. Plants may not always be supplied in flower.

Yucca gloriosa is a tri-colour variegated plant with shades of ivory, pinks and greens. Cool conditions or water stress will bring out the pink in young plants, otherwise, the pink colour will appear when the plants get older. Slow growing with strong sword-like leaves. ‘Bright star’ develops a short woody stem and the leaves are broad and still similar to an agave with a trunk. Drought tolerant. Mature clumps are topped with 3′ spikes of pink buds opening to white bell-shaped flowers in June to October. Height and spread 76-91cm. Hardy. Prefers full sun.
