Photo Opportunities & Competition Launch
If you follow our pages on social media you may know that we have recently welcomed some new residents to the garden centre – including a few dinosaurs, a giant panda, a zebra and a giraffe! We’re celebrating their arrival with a COMPETITION… the chance to win £250 of plants, for a photo with our brand new animals. We’re asking visitors to take a photo with our new animals and tag us in it on Facebook or Instagram to be in with a chance of winning a ‘garden changing’ £250 worth of plants in time for the autumn – the BEST planting time of the year! At the end of the summer the Trevena Cross team will choose their favourite photo from all those entered, and we’ll then announce the winner! The only rule we have is no climbing on the animals please – but sitting with/cuddling the panda is of course allowed 🙂 Expression is everything, so be creative, and we look forward to seeing what you’ve got!
Animal Hunt
As we welcome more animals, now seems a good time to also reinstate our FREE CHILDREN’S ANIMAL HUNT! Always popular over the summer, children can pick up a form in the shop, go hunt down 10 animals around the garden centre, write them down as they go, and then return the form to the shop to claim their plant prize, which this summer is a 2L perennial!
Trevena Cross wants visitors to enjoy their experience here and offering some free family fun and memorable photos to take away with them is great way to do this! Keeping children occupied, particularly through the summer holidays can be challenging and costly, so providing something for them is really important.
