As we’re now well into the throws of spring, we thought we’d give you a run down of where you can find us in the coming months. As well as welcoming you to the centre seven days a week, we’ll also be out and about ourselves, at several upcoming events in Cornwall.
This year we’ll be packing up trolleys and trucks and transporting a little piece of Trevena Cross to the following shows:
Cornwall Spring Flower Show – 5th & 6th April 2014
BOCONNOC ESTATE, LOSTWITHIEL
Attracting real ‘plantsmen’ (and women!) from within the county and beyond. People travel from all over for this lovely horticultural show, set in beautiful surroundings.
Truro Spring Flower Show – 10th, 11th & 12th April 2014
LEMON QUAY, TRURO
We haven’t attended a Truro show in spring before so this will make a nice addition to the calendar and offer another opportunity to meet new people on the popular Lemon Quay of Truro.
Royal Cornwall Show – 5th, 6th & 7th June 2014
ROYAL CORNWALL SHOWGROUND, WADEBRIDGE
Probably the most publicised of all the Cornish shows, this big three day show is also renowned for its big flower show, which attracts exhibitors from a wide area. We always put a big flower display together for this show – and efforts have reaped rewards, with lots of lovely Gold Medals and awards in the past!
Stithians Show – 14th July 2014
THE SHOWGROUND, STITHIANS
This one isn’t a definite in the Trevena Cross diary but it’s likely we’ll be returning to Cornwall’s biggest one day show in July this year. A traditional Cornish agricultural show, this one has everything, from cattle to crafts, horses to horticulture.
Garden Truro – 30th July – 2nd August 2014 (provisionally)
LEMON QUAY, TRURO
Returning for another year, if a little later than usual, Garden Truro will be celebrating summer in ‘floral style’ on Lemon Quay again, with nurseries, garden centres and other garden related retailers all putting on displays and showing off their ‘outdoorsy’ stands to visitors both local and down on holiday.
So if you’re out and about in Cornwall in the coming months, pop along and see us at one of these fabulous events!
