Following the success of this year’s Easter Egg Hunt, which took place for the duration of the Easter holidays, and saw lots of very observant children hunt out 10 hidden eggs, to claim their plant prize, we’ve relaunched our re-vamped Trevena Cross Children’s Animal Hunt for the remainder of the spring and summer season!
New animals, new hiding places but the same rules!… Pick up a form in the shop, find 10 hidden animals around the garden centre, record them on the form provided, and when complete, return the form to the shop to claim a plant prize!
What’s not to like? Some FREE fun for the children while the grown-ups make those all important plant choices and purchasing decisions! Or just a lovely way to entertain the children for a little while, in lovely surroundings but without the high price-tag attached to many local ‘days out’ or children’s activities!
With a lovely young children’s section in our gift department, a children’s play area, and the family friendly Garden Kitchen Cafe, with highchairs and children’s menu, there’s also a great excuse to treat them to a spot of lunch, a snack or a special new toy, for a memorable treat!
