Now that the extreme weather of recent days has subsided, we can anticipate our Christmas tree arrival in a positive – dry – spirit!
While some of our pot grown trees have been brought on in the nursery over the past year, and have already come down to the garden centre, our UK grown cut trees are due to be here in the next day or two. The tree bays are built, the point of sale is done, the netting machine is primed, and we’re now just waiting on the trees to engage muscle power and lug them into position!
As usual, we’ll have a range of tree types, including the traditional Norway Spruce, popular Nordman Fir and wonderfully scented Fraser Fir. A full Christmas Tree Size & Price Guide (which remains unchanged from 2011) can be found by clicking here.
The Horticultural Trades Association – HTA’s Easy Guide to a Greener Christmas offers handy advice on choosing your tree, as well as other useful tips on Christmas plants and home decor. We’ll also be offering Trevena Cross words of wisdom on Christmas trees in our upcoming newsletter (sign up to get our newsletter here!) and on our Twitter and Facebook pages in the coming days.
A family tradition for so many, we hope you have fun choosing your 2012 Christmas tree at some point in the coming weeks! We certainly look forward to seeing you here soon… with a knowledgeable team on stand-by, waiting to help with any Christmas tree queries!
And while you’re visiting, why not treat yourself to a mulled wine & mince pie in the cafe, and a spot of Christmas shopping in the gift department?!… Shame not to!!
