Christmas in the shop…
With only weeks rather than months remaining until Christmas, we have tried to create a shop display that competes with the very best around. Every year we aim to raise the bar – and certainly try to create something that doesn’t just repeat the previous year’s ‘Christmas experience at Trevena Cross’. We think we’ve cracked it this year (let us know when you visit!), I mean, where else can you find a wall of gonks, a woodland scene, nearly 9,000 different baubles, and a 15ft tree united into a Christmas feast for the eyes?
When December hits…
Fast forward to December and the festivities will be ramping up here as usual, with our big Christmas props and festive displays taking over a good section of the the undercover area next to the shop and taking our Christmas experience at Trevena Cross to a whole new level. Our singing reindeer, giant polar bear, talking owl, festive dinosaurs and PLENTY more, will be staging a festive takeover! Bah-humbugs stay away!
Christmas trees will be available from the end of November – and our incredible value non-drop Nordmann Firs are back at just £25.
For the first three weekends of December our food and drink market will also return (10am-4pm Sat & Sun) – accompanied by various street food options. Bringing some of the best food and drink Cornwall has to offer, our traders will be able to inspire perfect presents or satisfy instant cravings! Arrive hungry, leave full!
Father Christmas
The festive photo opportunities will feature someone special this year… Father Christmas himself. We deliberated and carefully considered how to approach Christmas this year, and while we know how very missed our magical Santa’s Grotto has been over the past few years, we concluded that we are not in a position this year to be able to host the grotto of our dreams! With costs ramping up (for everyone) we feel it most sensible to ride out turbulent times with a very good compromise of free displays and photo opportunities, like we did last year. This year we will have the addition of Father Christmas, as we know he was the missing piece of the puzzle last year BUT he will only be here in an informal capacity, to say hello and ‘cheese’ in photos. He will NOT be here in a grotto for 1:1 visits with children, or to supply gifts. There will NOT be a ‘Santa’s Grotto’ or any opportunity to book to see him. We hope that clarifies the nature of Santa’s presence at Trevena Cross this December.

- Food & drink market with street food (December weekends only) – bringing you some of the best food and drink Cornwall has to offer – come hungry!
- Garden Kitchen Café (every day from now) – with its extensive menu of meals and treats you won’t be able to resist!
It’s safe to say we have Christmas décor, gifts and spirit all wrapped up at Trevena Cross this year!
Undercover entertainment with plenty of free parking and good disabled/pushchair access throughout. Well behaved dogs on leads also welcome. We hope to see you on a festive visit!
