Great in containers and pots or planted in the garden. In the autumn the leaves take on a very dark burgundy colour. Probably the darkest leaved hebe that there is. Deep pink flowers in the spring and summer look great against the darker foliage. Plant in full sun and will do best when given some protection from the worst of the winter weather. Height and spread in the region of 1m.
