Dense, compact growing, Griselinia Redge will grow around 30cm/1ft a year if fed with a very good slow release fertiliser like Trevena Cross Fertiliser, reaching a height of around 2m, (potentially up to 6m after 10-20 years). It can of course be trimmed, even a 1m hedge can look very neat.
Each specimen should be planted 40-90cm/18inches-3ft apart from one another – although they can be planted further apart if you do not mind waiting longer for them to form a solid hedge.
Griselinia Redge prefers a sunny, sheltered position in a well drained, fertile soil. It can be quite drought tolerant once established.
