As we countdown the weeks to the grotto opening, we’re very excited about the prospect of welcoming lots of visitors, young and old, to the centre for a magical festive outing. The team have spent a month constructing the grotto, and the final finishing touches are now being made to ensure that the experience lives up to expectations for everyone involved.
People are encouraged to book Santa’s Grotto NOW, with spaces filling fast – when they’re gone, they’re gone! Excitement is building as names and ages of children visiting in December have been recorded ready for transfer to Santa’s ‘nice list’!
Visitors will wind their way through the snowy forest, encountering winter scenes and festive friends, before reaching the gateway to a meeting with Santa. An elf will greet visitors and escort them to Santa’s cabin where a very special interaction will take place. On leaving Santa’s cabin, an elf will escort visitors to the ‘toy shop’ where they will be able to choose an age appropriate gift from the selection available.
In addition to the grotto, will be a range of other festive photo opportunities, the popular intermittent ‘snow storm’, musical accompaniment from the famous penguin band as well as a great market of around 25 stalls serving some of the best food, drink and crafts Cornwall has to offer. With a shop full of Christmas and Christmas trees aplenty (non-drop Nordmann Firs for £25 are back!) there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained on a festive visit to Trevena Cross!
But don’t forget… BOOK Santa’s Grotto NOW!
