An erect growing Proteaceae shrub (height 2-4m/6.5ft-13ft, spread 2m/6.5ft) from Tasmania with evergreen needle-like leaves and clusters of creamy yellow scented tubular flowers in autumn. These flowers are followed by ovate woody fruits. It should be planted in well drained acidic soil in full sun, or can be grown in large containers in a low phosphate compost. It has proven hardy to -7oC once established. It can also be used as hedging, responding well to clipping. Available in a large 4ltr pot.
