This deciduous Agapanthus (height 60cm/2ft, spread 45cm/1.5ft) has rich blue, trumpet shaped flowers forming open clusters on top of slender but sturdy stems. This rises from amongst the clumps of slender strap-like foliage in mid-summer. It enjoys full sun but will tolerate partial shade. it likes free draining soil and is ideal for borders and patio containers.
