This attractive, slow growing, compact shrub has dark green leaves with a striking central cream blotch that turns gold with age. Ideal for adding winter colour to the garden or for creating an informal hedge, this tolerant variety should be planted in well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Harmful if eaten.

Euonymus europaeus
A familiar native hedgerow shrub (6m/19.7ft h x 2.5m/8.2ft s) with green stems producing an abundance of scarlet capsules in the autumn. Flowers April to June and fruits in September. It should be planted in full sun/partial shade. Harmful if eaten.
