Wisteria Pink Chiffon

Wisteria Pink Chiffon

Trusses of soft pink flowers in the summer

Available in a 3ltr pot.

Wisteria brachybotrys Pink Chiffon is a great form of this popular deciduous climber, bearing trusses of sweetly scented soft pink flowers in the summer, which appear before the year's new leaf growth for a lovely display, especially over arches and pergolas. It is best grown in the ground in sunny position in a moisture retentive but well drained soil. To prune, cut back the whippy green shoots of the current year's growth to five or six leaves after flowering in July or August and then cut back the same growth to two or three buds in January or February.
