Mahonia japonica

A shrub with dark green, sharply toothed leaves

A hardy, erect shrub (max height 2m/6.5ft, max spread 3m/9.8ft) with dark green, sharply toothed leaves. Fragrant, pale yellow flowers are produced late autumn to early spring (November -March) followed by purple-blue berries in April. It should be positioned in full sun or partial shade.

A hardy, erect shrub (max height 5m/16ft, max spread 4m/13ft) with dark sharply toothed, green leaves. It displays bright yellow, fragrant flowers in dense upright clusters from late autumn to late winter (November –February). It should be positioned in full sun or partial shade.
