When can I expect to receive my plants after placing my order?

We aim to deliver your order as soon as possible but ask you to allow up to 7-10 days as standard (even though it's often much quicker than this!) We will notify you when your order is ready for, or has been, dispatched.

Why can't I specify a time for delivery?

We use a carrier called APC for our deliveries, rather than doing them ourselves, and so timings are often dependent on their schedule and where you live. We will always do our best to book a slot as soon as your order comes in, ensuring the speediest possible delivery, but are unable to secure specific times.

How are my plants packaged?

We package ourselves, careful not to squash or damage the plants. They will often be bubble wrapped, taped, and placed in a strong, taped cardboard box for transportation.

How will my plants be transported?

Plants are transported in a van/truck via our carrier APC, and will usually be on a next day delivery basis, ensuring the live plants are hanging around for as little time as possible in transit. We have worked with APC for many years, and they appreciate our packages are in many cases delicate, requiring extra care during transportation.

How much will it cost to deliver my plants?

The delivery charge is dependent on the value of your order. The standard charge is £17.00 in mainland UK for orders of £85.00 or less. See our Delivery Information

I want to order plants that are in your online shop AND plants that are in your plant centre but not in your online shop - what should I do?

As our online shop is only slow growing, we do not have a great many of the plants in our plant centre in it. We can however arrange delivery of them, availability permitting. If you would like to purchase plants from the online shop and the plant centre in a single order, please give us a call or email us and we will take your order, payment, and your delivery requirements.

I want to order plants that feature in your plant centre but not in your online shop - what should I do?

As our online shop is only slow growing, we do not have a great many of the plants in our plant centre in it. We can however arrange delivery of them, availability permitting. Please just give us a call or email us and we will take your order, payment, and your delivery requirements.

If I'm ordering a large quantity or multiple items is delivery more?

Delivery charges are calculated according to order value, so whether you order a single plant that is expensive, or multiples of much cheaper plants, your delivery charge is likely to remain the same (up to £85.00). For very large orders we will deliver on a pallet, as it becomes much more cost effective to do it this way. We will provide you with a bespoke quote in this case.

I live outside Mainland UK. Will you deliver to me?

We do deliver to the Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Isles of Scilly and Southern Ireland but delivery costs will normally be considerably higher than standard, and we require you to contact us for rates in such instances. We are unable to deliver to the rest of the EU, or internationally.

Can I order online but collect from you rather than paying for delivery?

Yes you can. As you go through the online buying process, you will be given the option to collect your order from store for free. Orders in this case will be ready for your collection three working days after placing the order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most major credit and debit cards.

Can I provide you with specific instructions for delivery?

Yes you can. This is particularly important if you will not be around to take delivery of your plant(s), so that the carrier knows where to leave them.
